 On Knowing and Thinking |

we can remember to simply return to knowing
return to the home by allowing our thinking to become quiet
The simple state of knowing is our basic estate
we came with knowing.
What Is knowing?
it's a state of quititude
in that place we are empty, full and experience
A sense of home.
thinking on the other hand,
Is thinking about knowing
And only brings a distant idea about knowing.
Thinking always brings an experience of never quite enough,
An experience of aloneness and separation.
Thinking divorces us from Knowing.
knowing and thinking is a way of acknowledging
The gifts are Knowing and Thinking about knowing.
Connection and Separation.
Being and Doing.
We have both and can choose either and we do.
There's a simply little that tells the tale of existence
it goes like this, music please:-)

| the Way |

|
each of us is a god who forgot he is one.
We found ourselves now alive and here.
In order to be here, alive, we put on
A pair of glasses to pretend and see.
All that we see is the infinity of possibilities.
we freely choose a set of stories and then live in them.
while we are alive.
The stories change as we move through the stages of life.
we can choose any story we want.
we drop stories as required.
then, when it's time, we lay aside the glasses... |

| A New World |
|
|
I've discovered a new way
To be in the world.
From now on, I'm going
To live a life of invitation.
That's right.
I've had lives as a child
(my favorite time so far)
I've had a life as a parent
And what at adventure
That has been.
I've been a worker for
A long time as well and
Am still one.
I've been a lover of women
As well and that has brought
The best and the worst, so far.
For the past 15 years or so
I've been a spiritual seeker
With it's many blessings.
In the most recent times,
I've rediscovered awe and
wonder Again and gratitude.
Now, I will practice yielding
My wants and will extend
An invitation to all the events
That visit me' and bid them welcome.
No more goals and victories
Just whatever comes, I await
With open arms.
No more philosophy and
Trying to figure it out.
The daily bread of life
As it's baked and served up.
Welcome everyone and everyone,
including all my personalities,
And yours.
After all, all who show up
Are my other faces, fears and
Desires.
If I cannot enter heaven
Without you, you are invited
One and all. no exceptions.
I know I cannot enter Heaven's
Gate without you. |

| A Family Funeral |
|
|
Good Morning, Just getting dressed to pick up Dann and Ryan at 7.
We will drive to a court hearing on Hill Street, have breakfast at
The Pantry or at the Police Academy, then off to Bruno's Service in Culver City at The Holy Cross Church.
I have very strong memories of the Beautiful, handsome, Steady.. Bruno.
He was a Rock in the Family. A model for all our young men...
He will be lovingly missed...
What a wonderful passage this human life is....so full everything
a human could want...up's, down, family picnics...births, children,
Christmas Mornings, Kindergarden's, graduations and finally..deaths..
the whole panorama of our human existence...
and then a family exit with tears and love...
What more could we ask for??
Love for one another...
The sweetest song that sings us...
Our tears to wash us down the river of life
and back to our Home in Eternity...
Thanks Be To God...
All of us..together..at the End...
