It’s in There! Inside Her!
It’s what lives in there
There, beyond the body
There, beyond the face
Beyond that Voice!
There, beyond the beautiful bones
There...there it is!
That mysterious Fire,
Alive in Her!
In that body lives a great
presence, a wonderful
confusion of terribly great
voices, songs, dreams, cries
laughter’s, imagines...
There, inside of her
lives that strange, mystical
strength, power generating utterances
That spark this world into swooning
daggers that rush to the receiving heart!
Inside her, there lives a spirit
So grand, so humanly sweet
It is hard to bear, It’s terrible to live
Without Her! In this world!
We are taken by storm by this creature
Who, Where, In her lives these powers?
To sweep away our daily average lives
Powers that burst inside us!
That bring us to life! We live anew
Powered by what lives in Her!
And is fired in us!
We become beautiful,
We become significant
We too become Gods
On Earth, like Her!
Oh, that she is gone
To bitter to know
Our lives gone dim
Without Her..
Without The life
That lived in her,
that we might live also!
The storms of life’s sweetest knives
she bore, gone!
No wounds and laughter any More!
Gone, when she was gone
That something, that lived in Her
Only Her..but burst like a tinder flame
In us...when she was Here!
Oh, God, Why have you taken her!!!?
